Accommodations can be Made for Specific Students

While the Quiz tool provides you with the option to apply special access settings for each individual quiz, the Classlist tool gives you the option to update a course-wide setting for changing the amount of time provided on a all quizzes in the course for a specific student.

For example, if you receive an accommodation notice from Disability Services that says that a specific student must receive time and a half on all quizzes, test, or exams it is easier to set this globally via the Classlist rather than for each individual quiz.
