Create HTML Content in a Module
The HTML Editor offers many features that can improve the accessibility and usability of your course.
- The HTML Editor offers the Insert Quicklink feature that can be used to directly link to content or activity such as a specific quiz, discussion, or assignment. Using quicklinks provides students with in-context navigation options. In-context navigation eliminates the ‘scavenger hunt’ experience that can occur when students must locate a quiz, discussion, or assignment by making multiple clicks.
- The Insert Stuff feature can be used to add content from third party sources such as Kaltura and Films on Demand. This features allows you to provide context and direction to students on how to interact or use the content you are inserting.
- The use of HTML templates can help you to ensure that your content is accessible, engaging, and mobile-friendly.

There are also templates that can assist you with adding interactive content such as accordions and tabs to your HTML files.
Equation Editor
The Equation Editor can be used to create content used any where the HTML Editor is available. The Equation Editor supports accessible mathematical and scientific content.
