The MyCourses Content Tool is used to organize files, documents, links, videos, activities, and assessments into modules. Modules are typically organized so that students know the sequence in which they should be moving through the course.
The Content Tool includes built-in features that allow you to provide a course overview, offer a course schedule that is tied to the Calendar Tool, set release criteria for content, and track student completion (or viewing of content).
The New Content Experience (NCE) is an updated interface for the Content tool in MyCourses. NCE was developed to bring a more streamlined approach to presenting content to students
Faculty now have the option to enable NCE in their courses. We encourage faculty to explore NCE in their sandboxes and Banner courses as New Content Experience will be default for all courses in Spring 2027. Please check out the GGC Event Calendar for upcoming workshops on NCE.
