Communication and Notification Features
This section details how an instructor can communicate with students. MyCourses supports:
- Announcements
- Calendar
The Intelligent Agent Tool is available for instructors to create nudges that send mail messages to students if they meet/do not meet certain criteria.
MyCourses is also integrated with Zoom which allows synchronous communication between the instructor and students.
The notifications feature can be enabled by students so that they received SMS/text messages when something is updated in MyCourses. The Pulse app also can be used by students to receive push notifications on their mobile devices about information about due dates and grade availability.
