Request a Sandbox Course

Banner courses are automatically populated in MyCourses, but instructors may request a blank course at any time. The options for blank courses are as follows: 

• A Sandbox is a blank MyCourses course that can be used to practice developing course materials and test learning technology tools.
• A Building Section is a blank MyCourses course where you can build content for a Banner course to be copied into the live Section.
  • Please note Building Sections follow a strict naming convention to track versioning.
• An Other course does not use “sandbox” in the title and can be used as an Assessment course, a Community course, etc.
  • The requestor provides the course title for Other courses.
