Student laptop checkout is a service provided by Information Technology (IT) for students to check out laptops (Windows operating system only), on a per semester basis, based on availability. Software installed on these laptops is the same software installed on GGC classroom and Information Commons computers. Students must use their GGC Account to login and access resources on laptops.
Students may request a laptop. If a laptop is available, students will be notified when the laptop is ready for pickup at the GGC Help Desk in Building A, Suite 1040.
Checkout Agreement
Students must complete and sign an Off-Campus agreement when picking up a laptop.
Laptops not returned by the due date will result in fees and/or holds being applied to the student’s Grizzly Den (Banner) account.
Upcoming Changes to Checkout Program
Beginning in Summer 2023, the student laptop checkout program will consider financial need when determining eligibility. Those with high financial aid will be given priority, while students without financial aid will not be eligible for the program.
