Simple Syllabus

Simple Syllabus is directly integrated into MyCourses, providing students with the critical details needed for informed course selection and successful academic planning.

Simple Syllabus allows instructors to quickly edit and publish course syllabi, ensuring up-to-date course information is publicly available for all Georgia Gwinnett College students. In addition to managing syllabi, Simple Syllabus also serves as Georgia Gwinnett College’s official repository for faculty Curriculum Vitae (CVs). Faculty can update their CVs at any time within the system, and these CVs are publicly accessible, supporting transparency and easy access to faculty qualifications.


Simple Syllabus for Students

Simple Syllabus allows students to view their syllabus via their MyCourses course section.

Simple Syllabus for Instructors

Simple Syllabus allows instructors to update the syllabus template (formerly provided as a Word document) via their MyCourses course section. Instructors can also publish their Curriculum Vitae and keep it up to date with their latest professional accomplishments.

Simple Syllabus for Editors

Specific users within our organization manage certain components of the syllabus template. These users fall into two distinct roles within the GGC Simple Syllabus system.

School-Level Editors

These editors manage the school-specific language within the syllabus template, including:

  • School Vision/Mission Statement
  • School Policies
  • School/Program Outcomes

Course-Level Editors

These editors manage the course-specific language within the syllabus template, including:

  • EXACT Policy (if the course is included in the EXACT Quality Enhancement Plan)
  • Course Goals and Objectives
  • Course Outcomes
  • Course Integrated Educational Experience (IEE) Goals
