Automatic Captions
All media hosted in Kaltura is automatically transcribed using machine transcription. This will add a closed caption option that viewers of the media can choose to enable. The owner of the media may choose to edit the automatically-generated captions.
Professional Captions
Faculty who recieve an accommodation notice from Disability Services indicating that a student requires captions can order professional transcription to caption media hosted in Kaltura. It typically takes 2 business days for professional captions to be created. Professional captions replace automatic captions.
