Security Training and Awareness
- Biannual Required USG Cybersecurity Training
- Cybersecurity Awareness Campaigns
- Scam and Phishing Awareness Campaigns
Governance, Risk, & Compliance
- Performing Audits
- Assisting with Audit Responses
- Developing Policies, Standards, Procedures, and Guidelines to Ensure Compliance with
- GGC Administrative Policy Manual (APM),
- USG IT Handbook,
- USG Business Procedures Manual (BPM),
- USG BOR Policy Manual,
- and any other applicable regulations such as: FERPA, HIPAA, GLBA, PCI, etc.
Security Incident Response
- Coordinates responses with applicable college units including
- Help Desk
- Public Safety
- Operations
- Facilities
- Coordinates with University System of Georgia
- Coordinates with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies
Vulnerability Response
Leads the Patch Management Program to ensure that systems and devices are maintained appropriately.
