Universal Design for Learning: MyCourses Syllabus Design Considerations 

 In this session, we will 

• create an easy to navigate syllabus
  Using the Content tool and HTML templates we will create an accessible “deconstructed” syllabus that make it easy for students to locate information and provides instructors with the ability to track which students have viewed specific pieces of information and create campaigns using intelligent agents to encourage students to engage with the syllabus.
• create a syllabus tour
  Using Kaltura Capture create a captioned video tour of your syllabus that is embedded in a start of the semester “Welcome to class” announcement. 

The session will incorporate best practices from UDL on Campus as well as the Online Learning Consortium.
